Top global communications measurement conference comes to Asia for first time in 2017 – Isentia named as headline sponsor

International communications professionals will converge in Bangkok, Thailand in May next year for the world’s premiere on communications research and measurement.

The Global Summit on Measurement is being organised by AMEC, the International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication. The organisers hope PR and communications professions throughout Asia will attend the event.

Isentia Group Limited (ASX: ISD), a prominent AMEC member, will be the Headline Sponsor of the Global Measurement Summit.

The Summit will include the awards ceremony for the annual AMEC International Awards and will start with a Welcome Drinks reception on Tuesday 16th May followed by two days of senior client presentations and workshops on Wednesday 17th May and Thursday 18th May.

Isentia, which is a publicly listed company on the Australian Stock Exchange, has offices throughout Asia.

John Croll, CEO of Isentia, said: “We are thrilled and honoured that the AMEC Global Summit is coming to Asia for the first time.

“As well as being the world’s fastest growing region, Asia is an early adopter for many new and emerging communications channels, in combination with an extremely strong and growing professional media landscape. Companies across the region are striving to build communications measurement incorporating both new and traditional platforms into their business outcomes and the significant number of AMEC award wins from the region shows the high quality insight being produced in Asia.”

Barry Leggetter, CEO of AMEC, said he was delighted that Isentia, the largest media intelligence company in Asia, would be the Headline Sponsor.

“Their understanding will enable us to organise a conference that is in tune and relevant to the Asia Pac PR and communications marketplace.”

Leggetter said the two-day programme would feature senior level international speakers from major organisations as well as interactive workshops.

Further details of the Summit programme will be announced soon as well as delegate booking details.
